Our coffee and cake room dedicated to relaxation and the enjoyment of a hot beverage and seasonal homemade cake baked in house. In the oldest part of the house dating from 1712. Help yourself to drinks and have a seat and enjoy a slice of cake at your leisure
Minster Walk has a great location for eating out
We are on the doorstep of York's best Pubs and Restuarants, we have the Roots restuarant run by Michelin starred chef Tommy Banks at the bottom of our street. The renowned real ale pub -The Minster Inn on Marygate at the top end. We are also a short walk down the river to the Star Inn The City which is located in the Museum Gardens opposite Minster Walk. Ancient Marygate
The tower constructed in 1324 featured above is at the top of our street, at the end of the section of walls built in 1266. The buildings to the right have since been demolished leaving the medieval walls behind which run down past our Guest House towards the river Ouse at the bottom of Marygate.
